١Overview
Thailand has over 4,000 registered mosques. Bangkok alone hosts 180+ — concentrated in Klong Toey, Phra Khanong, Bang Rak (Haroon Mosque), Indra Square, and Bang Luang. The largest concentration nationally is in the four southern provinces — Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Songkhla — where Muslims form the majority. Most mosques welcome non-Muslim visitors outside prayer times for respectful viewing. Friday prayer (Jum'ah) typically starts 12:30–13:00; arrive 30 min early.
